Description
BUCK V3 Constant Current Source
This constant current source is specifically designed for the safe and reliable operation of LEDs. It provides a precise and stable output current, regardless of input voltage or LED load—ideal for high-power LEDs, LED modules, or custom lighting solutions.
Thanks to a modular solder-jumper system, the output current can be flexibly adjusted to suit your needs. The available current levels are 350 mA, 700 mA, 1500 mA, and 2000 mA, and they can be combined to achieve intermediate values—however, the total of all active current settings must not exceed 3050 mA!
The wide input voltage range of 5 to 60 V DC allows for flexible use with various power sources such as power supplies, batteries, or rechargeable packs. The constant current source protects LEDs from overcurrent and ensures even light output and extended service life.
How to Set the Desired Current
- Disconnect the power supply—never work on the module while it is powered!
- Locate the labeled solder pads on the PCB (e.g., “350 mA”, “700 mA”, etc.).
- Combine the solder jumpers to achieve the desired current:
Examples:
- Only 350 mA pad active = 350 mA output current
- 700 mA + 350 mA active = 1050 mA
- 1500 mA + 350 mA active = 1850 mA
- 2000 mA + 350 mA + 700 mA active = 3050mA (Maximum!) - Ensure that the total combined current does not exceed 3050 mA, as this can damage the circuit.
- If needed, use desoldering braid to remove old jumpers before applying new ones.
Specifications:
- Input: 5–60 V DC
- Output: 350 - 3050 mA
- Dimmable via PWM (max. 5.5 V)
Delivery time
Deliveries within Germany take 2-3 days beginning after receipt of payment, for deliveries to invoice beginning with the shipment, for deliveries to cash on delivery beginning with receipt of order. Payments and incoming orders beyond our business hours let the delivery time begin with the next workday. For deliveries to other EU countries the delivery time may be extended up to 3 weeks. The delivery time is subject to the proper delivery of the logistics company, as far as delivery delays are not caused by us. The validity of the above delivery times requires the availability of the ordered goods from stock at the time the delivery time is beginning.
