Description
8-Channel LED PWM Controller with TFT Display and Rotary Encoder
The REAPER® R8 LED Controller allows for the convenient and precise control of up to eight separate LED channels. The system consists of an external control unit featuring a TFT display and a rotary encoder, combined with a powerful power unit to drive the LED channels.
The Control Unit
All eight PWM channels are clearly visualized on the integrated TFT display and can be individually adjusted from 0–100% brightness. The display shows eight sliders that can be easily controlled using the central rotary knob. This intuitive operation ensures fast and precise adjustment of all channels.
The control unit comes factory-equipped with a 3-meter RJ12 connection cable to link it to the power unit. If necessary, this can be swapped out for your own cable of the same type up to 10 meters in length, allowing for flexible and independent positioning of the control unit.
A magnetic mount is included with the control unit. This can be mounted on a wall, a system profile, or any other surface. Thanks to the magnetic attachment, the control unit can be easily removed and reattached at any time.
The Power Unit
The power unit provides slots for up to eight driver modules. Each channel can currently be individually equipped with a Mean Well NLDD constant current source or a BUCK V3 module. Due to the wide variety of configuration options, these modules are not included in the standard scope of delivery and can be ordered in the required quantity via the links provided below.
The modules are simply plugged into the designated slots and can be flexibly swapped out if needed. With the supported constant current modules, currents from 350 mA to 3050 mA can be precisely controlled via PWM, making the system ideal for demanding LED applications.
Important: When inserting the driver modules, please ensure the correct orientation/polarity to prevent damage or failure. Further information can be found in the datasheet or the image gallery. For a straightforward installation, the power unit features integrated terminal blocks, completely eliminating the need for soldering.
