In this product category you will find energy saving cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL). Unlike standard fluorescent lamps CCFLs do not have a heated electrode. They use a cold/unheated cathode that ensures the ignition voltage lying in the range of the line voltage. The power supply is called inverter and is included in all 2in1 and 4in1 sets already. The lifetime is about 15.000 hours. It is not depending on On/Off switching operations. That makes them very interesting for blinking light effects.
